Peptide therapy

Peptide therapy, limited to what can lawfully be prescribed

Medical review pending · Last updated

Interest in peptides has exploded, and so has the gray market. We only list peptides a licensed provider can prescribe in the U.S. today, with plain notes on regulatory status and evidence. Status last reviewed 2026-11-03.

Regulatory note: Rules changed several times in 2026. On October 28, 2026, HHS announced an interim policy (published in the Federal Register on October 30, 2026) allowing licensed pharmacies to compound six peptides under strict conditions while FDA rulemaking proceeds. Status can change; we will update this page. New here? Read what are peptides, are peptides legal in 2026?, or sermorelin vs. tesamorelin.

Frequently asked questions

What is peptide therapy?

Peptide therapy uses short chains of amino acids as medicines. Some are FDA-approved for specific conditions; others may be compounded by licensed pharmacies under federal rules.

Why don't you offer CJC-1295 or ipamorelin?

As of November 2026 they are not on FDA's 503A Bulk Drugs List, FDA advisers voted against adding them in 2024, and they are not covered by HHS's October 2026 interim policy. We only feature peptides that can be lawfully prescribed now.

Are compounded peptides FDA-approved?

No. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved and are not reviewed by FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality.
